The Tramontina PRO IEC 60900 insulated tool line offers total safety for those who work with electricity. Recommended for activities of low voltage up to 1000 volts on alternating currents and 1500 volts on direct current. The tools follow the requirements of the IEC 60900 international standard (equivalent to the EN 60900 European standard). These tools are subjected to rigorous quality tests such as impact at room temperature and at -25°C, a 5000 V dielectric test with 2 kg of compression, insulation material adhesion, flame retardant properties with exposure to a flame for 10 seconds, and a 10000 V dielectric test with the tools immersed in water or stainless steel spheres.
