A pulley puller is a tool with which flanges, bearings and couplings can be removed from a shaft. A pulley puller can consist of two or three grippers. The operation of the pulley puller is by hooking the grippers behind, for example, a bearing and then turning the bolt against the shaft on which the bearing is mounted. Then the hexagonal head of the bolt is tightened with a spanner or ring wrench until the bearing comes loose.
