The Makita Rotary Hammer with a back "D" shaped handle, with 2.0 Joules per blow it is capable of drilling holes in masonry up to 20mm. 3 functions include rotary hammer for masonry drilling, rotary only for wood, metal and plastic and hammer only mode for chiselling this is an excellent all round machine suitable for all trades. The variable speed trigger has a forward/reverse lever and a lock on button for extended use and the one-touch sliding chuck allows rapid bit change over and accepts all SDS+ drill bits and chisels. Chisels can be locked off at any of 40 positions throughout 360° and an LED light brightens up the work area once the trigger is depressed. The side handle can be fitted both left and right handed and incorporates a handy depth stop and the torque limiter protects the user in the event that the bit snags while drilling.
