The high-quality zirconium grain provides greater aggression and faster stock removal than standard zirconia or aluminium oxide flap discs. The grain offers self-sharpening properties with controlled grain fractures, continuously producing sharp, new abrasive edges. The cotton cloth offers high strength, flexibility and wear resistance. The Flapdiscs are an excellent sharpening solution for all applications. They last a long time on difficult-to-sharpen materials, including steel and stainless steel, as well as softer metals like aluminum. Ideal for low and medium pressure applications. Flap discs are used for grinding welds, chamfering, deburring, cleaning and removing rust and paint. They are used in many industrial sectors (maintenance and repair work, metal production and welding technology, transport and general use). The Flapdiscs have a cone shape and a fiberglass backing, making it possible to sharpen at angles of 15 to 25°.
